This shadow box was created using the architectural elements found in Olson Kundig’s Delta Shelter. The mixture of steel and plexiglass shows the movement of the shutters that open and close. The wooden frame shows the outline of the isolated house. The design shows the movement of the steel and the process that turned this building into a shelter, from the surrounding environment. This was accomplished by using repetition in design, but varying materials that intersect at the center.
